It is important that students understand the Scriptures, so God’s Word will be incorporated into daily lessons.  Students will learn about the Faith in order to evangelize and pass it on from Church doctrine.  Knowing about Mary and the saints will play a significant role in the teaching of religion classes.  The Sacraments are the anchors of our lives, so the gift of the Sacraments and their importance in our lives will be emphasized.

The Eucharist is the core and center of our lives.  Students will learn and understand the tremendous value of attending weekly/daily Mass (or attending the church services of their religion if they are non-Catholic.). Active participation in the Mass is extremely important and much instruction will be incorporated into religion classes about singing, listening to the Scriptures, and receiving the REAL Body and Blood of Jesus.  Students will realize the amazing and powerful gift of the Eucharist/Mass.  The Religious Education Program at OLMC School will allow students to live and acknowledge their Faith as they bring about the Kingdom of God in their midst!  The religion teacher is Sister Paulette Joerger, O.P.
