Mrs. Lori Beers is the Administrative Assistant at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. She began working here in July, 1999. Lori is married to Danny Beers. She has one daughter, Megan (Dawes) Smith, who is an alumni of OLMC School and is currently the business owner of The Victory Parlor Salon in Herrin, and a grandson named Collin. She has been involved with the parish since 1989, when her nephew, Wes Steh, began classes at the school as did her niece, Addie Rash, who enrolled in 1992.
Mrs. Beers maintains all accounts payable and receivable for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and School, as well as for San Carlo Cemetery. She truly enjoys working at OLMC, with all the faculty, staff, school families, and church members. "When things get hectic in the office, I simply open my window to listen to the students on the playground . . . then the day is better!”
